Geraldine (Gerri) is a versatile and accomplished Lab Director /Lab Quality Director with over 30 years’ experience in Assisted Reproduction Technology in the UK, UAE, Ireland, Romania and Iraq. She shows leadership through willingness to adopt and promote positive change within IVF Laboratories. Gerri is a Diplomat of the Royal College of Pathologists UK since 2010. She was a supervisor and assessor for the association of clinical embryologists UK, past Vice President of the Irish Fertility Society (IFS), a founding member and past chair of the Irish Clinical Embryologist society (ICE). She has published work in peer reviewed journals and presented at many national and international conferences

Geraldine is certified Snr Embryologist and a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE). She has previously held the post of the Irish Scientific representative to ESHRE.

Her interests are in IVF laboratory Total Quality Management, Patient Safety, Cryopreservation, Male Factor Infertility and the continuous professional development of all IVF Laboratory staff.
